Who’s Behind This Trip

The Evolution Baseball Japan Tour 2026 is brought to you by the program, the travel partner, and your on-the-ground coordinator.

Evolution Baseball, Lehman's Baseball, The Turf Training Center & Rawlings have partnered to offer a premier environment for dedicated baseball student-athletes seeking to compete at the next level.

Our job is to provide a safe & competitive program that will give the dedicated baseball athlete all the tools required to find success at their next level of baseball. We use the latest technology to aid our players in their development and focus on communicating effectively so that players have the best opportunity to excel.

A significant emphasis is placed on the athlete's mechanical movements, the mental aspects of the game, and the speed, strength, and athleticism training needed for players to be successful at the elite level. Evolution Baseball will provide everything required for athletes to improve. The only thing left to do is sign up, put the work in & be ready to get “Better Every Day!”

Owner

Jordan Blundell

Owner of Evolution Baseball and Manager, Energy City Cactus Rats

Jordan Blundell is the Manager of the WCBL Energy City Cactus Rats and Director of Baseball Operations for the Cactus Rats Baseball Club.

Coach Blundell brings over 20 years of coaching experience, including 12 seasons as Head Coach at Vancouver Island University, where he led the Mariners to a CCBC Championship in 2010 and helped place more than 150 players into scholarship collegiate baseball opportunities, with two players being selected in the MLB draft. He has also earned honors such as WMBL Coach of the Year (2008), CCBC Coach of the Year (2010) and a B.C. 18U Provincial Championship (2016).

A former NAIA All-American and Hall of Fame inductee at the University of Jamestown, Coach Blundell played in the 2004 NAIA World Series and went on to compete professionally with the Schaumburg Flyers of the Northern League.

We Retreat

We Retreat designs and manages team travel experiences that combine sports, culture, and logistics, so players and families can focus on the experience. We handle hotels, transportation, scheduling, local coordination, and bilingual support from start to finish.

We’re IATA-certified and have supported companies with flights and hotels as well as team-building program design for remote teams and HR leaders. We also organize creator retreats (fitness, yoga, and more), conference tours, and sports event trips.

Yumezo Densaki
Bilingual Coordinator

Yumezo Densaki

Born and raised in Osaka, Japan, Yumezo came to the United States to play baseball and pursue his education. He played junior college baseball in California and Oregon before continuing his career at an NCAA Division II program in Arkansas, where he served as a starting pitcher.

Since then, Yumezo has been dedicated to creating pathways for Japanese players—high school, college, and professional—to compete and develop in the U.S. He has also worked at the professional level as a Japanese interpreter, including with the Seattle Mariners during the 2020 season in support of right-handed pitcher from Japan, Yoshihisa Hirano. Yumezo currently lives in Las Vegas, Nevada, and provides bilingual (English/Japanese) on-the-ground support for teams traveling between Japan and the U.S.
